Make finding your real self a goal for 2010
In “The Mask Behind the Mask,” biographer Peter Evans says that actor Peter Sellers played so many roles he sometimes was not sure of his own identity.
Approached once by a fan who asked him, “Are you Peter Sellers?” Sellers answered briskly, “Not today,” and walked on.
What about you? Are you playing too many roles and don't know who you truly are? You might confuse others and yourself, but you will never confuse God.
If you want to find your real self, allow God the chance to help you out. As we begin 2010, make that a priority for your life. We should all be authentic and know ourselves. Take off all of the masks. Wishing you much love and much light in 2010.
