LAKE OCONEE — The American Cancer Society proudly announces Saint Joseph’s East Georgia Hospital, as presenting sponsor for the upcoming Boule’ on Lake Oconee. This gala event will take place this Saturday, March 13, at Cuscowilla’s Waterside Restaurant. Only a limited number of tickets are still available for one of the most unique events in the area.
Doors open at 7:00p.m. on Saturday night as guests will discover that New Orleans has been brought to Lake Oconee. Dress is ‘High Casual”, meaning dress to impress but you can leave your black tie at home.
Lavish décor will adorn the already stunning venue as live music from “The Big Daddy’s Band” fills the air. Guests will enjoy an extraordinary spread of Cajun inspired cuisine including jambalaya, chicken etouffee and all your favorites from the bayou!
Along with dinner, drinks and dancing, a gaming room will be open with fun for all. With games like the wine toss, Blackjack and the first ever “Pou Pou Poulet” the Lake Country has ever seen you won’t want to miss Boule’. A silent auction will be ongoing throughout the evening, featuring a variety of items that have been donated from all over the area including local artists, dermatologists, furniture stores and golf resorts.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit your local American Cancer Society to educate and support people who have been touched by cancer, and will bring services and programs like Reach to Recovery and Look Good, Feel Better to the Lake area.
All inclusive tickets are still available for purchase, but only a limited number are remaining. For $75 patrons can enjoy a buffet style dinner, drinks including beer and wine and the opportunity to support our community’s fight against cancer, all ticket proceeds benefit your local American Cancer Society.
