GREENSBORO — Publishers Bill Bray and Bo Craig of Bilbo Books were on hand at a recent meeting of The Greensboro Writer’s Guild. Located in Athens, Bilbo Books is a publishing service created to help writers get their works published. They were invited to acquaint the group with the ins and outs of self-publishing. Memoirs as well as other types of writing were discussed. A lively question and answer session followed their presentation.
Using words of the writers and artwork from the artists, the Guild partnered with the Greensboro Arts Alliance to publish Seasons on Lake Oconee last year. They are also part of a group that published “Cooking Wild,” featuring recipes for fish and game along with written selections from many of the writers.
A sampling of their work can be heard at The Daily Grind coffee shop where they will read selections from “Cooking Wild” on Saturday, March 20th. between 11 a.m. and noon.
