LAKE OCONEE —
John Crouse, representing the Harbor Club Master Property Owners Association, and Sidney Lane, president of Farmers Bank, commemorate the investment of $100,000 of association funds in a Farmers Bank CD. According to Crouse, the MPOA has nearly one million dollars of available cash, most of which is invested in certificates of deposit at local banks. The association is pleased that these secure funds are benefiting our local community through loans to worthy projects.
Crouse notes that the MPOA maintains its gate house and security staff as well as 23 miles of roads and road shoulders plus many landscape enhancements in its 1,600 acre golf course community. Importantly, and despite six years of recession, Harbor Club remains a totally debt-free community.
