School supports Haiti relief effort

GREENSBORO — The students of Lake Oconee Academy participated in the Haiti relief effort in cooperation with the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).  Each student participated by donating personal care items such as washcloths, soap, adhesive bandages, combs and one dollar for the purchase of toothpaste.  The personal care kits were assembled by Mrs. Sara Lynn Bryant’s third grade students and delivered to the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro for transport to Haiti.
