GREENSBORO — What, who, expenses, funding, oversight, management, regional partners, growth, expansion project, and the future of your library: Those are just a few of the topics and issues surrounding the Greene County Library that we will discuss over the coming months. We hope to help folks in Greene County, as well as neighboring counties, learn everything there is to know about their library. The articles will be kept short, factual and include photos and diagrams where appropriate. You will learn that the community’s tax dollars built the original facility, and today your tax dollars are complimented with contributions of materials, time, expertise, and money from fellow citizens who love the Greene County Library.
We hope you will begin to enjoy these “learning trips,” and end up appreciating and using this amazing facility.
The Greensboro library is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., six days a week, and as you will see, all of its many offerings are available to us citizens absolutely free.
Stop in and see us at 610 S. Main St. in Greensboro (just north of the Middle school), look around and say hello; after all, it is your library.
