GREENSBORO —
The community is invited to a Gospel Sing-Along to be held at Lake Oconee Lutheran Church at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9. No admission will be charged, no collections will be taken. Attendees can listen and join in with voices raised.
The evening of Gospel Music will be led by Charlie Helms, who will play his guitar. Charlie has been leading many sing-alongs in Greene County and other surrounding counties for the past year. He will be playing old-time gospel tunes plus some newer songs also.
This event will also kick off the new Sunday School year at Lake Oconee Lutheran Church. New classes there begin on Sunday Sept. 12, and Sunday School registration will be available that evening.
The Lutheran Church is located at 1089 Lake Oconee Parkway, Eatonton, directly behind the Harmony Association Building. The church office can be reached at 706-485-4600, or online at www.lolc.info.
