Father Joe Greene Rector of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, along with other adult volunteers, will be revitalizing the youth program at the church this year. Exciting new curriculum will be developed and discussion groups formed for the Middle and High school attendees.
The Bible will be studied on a rotation curriculum, meaning that one Bible story will be studied for a month using different activities consisting of arts and crafts, cooking, theater, and storytelling. The Middle and High School youth will begin their Sunday school time helping the elementary children with that Sunday’s rotation activity. The older kids will then join Father Joe for a more in depth discussion of the Bible story and how it relates to them in their everyday life.
Once a month there will be an evening of Youth Worship and Fun with Father Joe. This will be a time to learn more about God outside of church while having LOTS of FUN! Come and be a part of the new and exciting youth program at Redeemer this fall starting Sept. 12 between the services from 9:45-10:20 a.m. in the Youth Building next to the church.
