Madison Artists Guild introduces market

MADISON — One of the best parts of the holiday season is that it gives everyone a chance to share holiday traditions. One organization that's interested in creating a tradition of their own and sharing it with the public is the Madison Artists Guild (MAG). MAG is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education in and encouragement of artistic endeavor in its members and the community through planned programs and regular gatherings. In the spirit of the holiday season, The Madison Artists Guild will host its first-ever Madison Artists Guild Holiday Market at the Cottage Gallery in Town Park.

"When you shop locally you not only gain the ideal gift but you also show support to the Madison community through your purchase," said MAG Executive Director Elizabeth Collins.

The Holiday Market features locally-made arts and crafts from members of the Madison Artists Guild. Items are priced under $100. Both three-dimensional art and wall art will be created by local artists as well.

Whether you're looking for the perfect present or know someone who loves arts and crafts, this will be the perfect event to attend.

“We’ll be sure to have what you are looking for this season and much more.” Collins said.

MAG's Holiday Market will have everything from unique gifts to seasonal stocking stuffers for people of all ages. It will be open the entire month of December every Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Come join MAG as they set out to create a treasured holiday tradition.
