As is its annual tradition, the Men’s Golf Association at Reynolds Plantation collects toys the first Saturday in December for distribution to area children for Christmas. The toys are equally divided between the Greene County Christmas Stocking Fund and the Eatonton Service League.

Both organizations take applications from area families that otherwise might not have toys for their children.

“This is one of the highlights of our year”, states MGA President Ron Trowbridge. “Our members look forward to filling the pro shop with all sorts of toys for children who might otherwise have a very sparse Christmas. It is our sincere hope that in some way, we can help put a smile on the face of many of the area’s neediest children.”

Mike Meredith ensures that Greene County gets their toys in plenty of time and Larry Hone is the interface with Putnam County.
