Reynolds to serve as trustee to PGA Foundation

The PGA of America has appointed Jamie Reynolds, vice chairman of Linger Longer Companies, developer of Reynolds Plantation, to serve as one of the first trustees to the PGA Foundation. The PGA Foundation focuses on serving junior golf programs, the disabled and awarding scholarships.

As a trustee, Reynolds will serve two years and his responsibilities will include reviewing the mission to ensure accuracy and validity as well as assisting with fundraising efforts. In addition, he will act as the primary contact for the community, public and media and share the focus of the Foundation, its mission, accomplishments and goals to generate support from the community.

“I am honored to have been chosen to represent our community, county and state as a trustee on the PGA Foundation,” said Reynolds. “This is a prestigious national organization and through the efforts of the Foundation, we will have the opportunity to make a difference in many lives throughout America.”

The PGA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, is dedicated to enhancing lives through the game of golf. The Foundation provides people of every ability, race, gender, and social and economic background an opportunity to experience the game and learn vital life lessons. The PGA Foundation achieves its mission through programs which provide instruction and access to playing the game of golf along with enriching those lives by providing educational, employment and scholarship opportunities.
