Duvall, Roberts honored at Rotary

Nathanael Greene Academy’s Zellie Duvall, daughter of Zippy and Bonnie Duvall, was honored as Rotary Student of the Month. Duvall’s academic and extracurricular accomplishments include being a member of the Beta Club for four years, class president for four years, being a member of the honor roll and the headmasters list. Additionally she was in the homecoming court for three years, was named Miss NGA and has participated in softball, basketball, track and cheerleading. Her leadership qualifications include the 2008 EMC Washington Youth Tour. She is involved in her community through Beta Club Community Service, canned food drives and Relay for Life. She plans to attend a four-year college and wants to become a nurse.
Phil Roberts was honored as Rotary Teacher of the Month. Roberts attended Clemson University and holds a political science degree and a degree in education. He teaches social studies, mathematics, and is the athletic director and head baseball coach. He has taught three years, all of which have been at Nathanael Greene.
