Bargain shoppers looking for quality merchandise will want to mark their calendars for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 30-31, when the Cultural Center will hold its annual yard sale.

Bag-A-Bargain (formerly known as Cultural Treasures) will be held in the Hall at the Cultural Center and will offer a wide variety of items (no clothing) at bargain prices. Bag-A-Bargain hours are Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. with a live auction scheduled for 7:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday evening offers a first-chance opportunity to purchase merchandise and will include food; there is a nominal entrance fee of $5 to attend this “sneak peak.” Saturday’s sale is free and open to the public, and food will be available from the local Boy Scout troop.

The Cultural Center is accepting donations now, all of which are tax deductible.
