Rock Eagle 4-H Center presents “Night Life: It’s Not so Scary” Saturday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. Bring the family to join Rock Eagle staff for a hike through the woods and discover the various night life. Afterward, enjoy a campfire with hot cocoa, songs and story time. Admission is $5 adults and $3 children 8-12. Pre-registration required. Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton will host the first annual Art @ the Rock on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Art @ the Rock, a juried art show, will be held at Rock Eagle Nov. 21. It will include the following art forms: clay, drawings, paintings, graphic art, fiber/leather, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography and wood. Musicians will provide entertainment and local crafts and homegrown creations will be sold. A chili and chowder lunch prepared by the chefs at Rock Eagle, along with other food and beverages, will be available. Art @ the Rock is a product of the growth of the annual Sunset Farm Art Festival held near Madison. For more information on the event, call (706) 484-2873.
Lake Oconee Landscape Association has formed to promote professionalism in the green industry, in the lake country. All members of LOLA are required to be licensed, insured and reputable. LOLA members provides services such as; landscape installation, maintenance, lawn and shrub fertilization, weed control, garden centers, all your outdoor needs. All LOLA members are listed at www.lakeoconeelandscapeassociation.com. LOLA is a non-profit organization to assist consumers in Greene, Putnam, Morgan and Baldwin counties to select Quality landscape professionals.
