An Antiques Roadshow styled program had Harbor Club Ladies League members toting family heirlooms and treasures to the Carriage House for their March luncheon/meeting.

A host of local appraisers (Edward Fritzi and Michelle Bechtell for fine art and antiques, Michael and Lee Feldmen for coins, gold and silver, Susan Erlandson for vintage linens and Bill Watterson for American cut glass) were on hand to give their expert opinions on the many items brought in by the ladies — and to offer verbal appraisals when able.  Committee members Donna Jean Kendall, Pat Frain, Laura Ride and Marjorie Bates did a wonderful job putting it all together.

President, Joyce Johnson, held a short business meeting following the luncheon.  She reminded the ladies that the April meeting would be held at the Washington Grass Inn. The program theme is Books and will feature the authors of, Do Tell — Tales Told on Southern Porches.

Camille Mancuso of the Nominating Committee read the nominees for next year’s officers.  They are: Co-Presidents — Joyce Johnson and Patty Monteleone, Co-Vice Presidents — Diane Gburek and Terri Ligon, Secretary — Dottie Suggs and Treasurer — Bea McCormick.

Millicent Zamirowski reported that plans have been finalized for the group trip to St. Simon’s Island in April.

Patricia Balduff announced that the May meeting would be a Derby Party held at the lakeside home of Lois Miller. Ladies are asked to wear their prettiest bonnets.
