Intruders take first in Girls Rule tournament

The Intruders fast-pitch softball team took first place in the CamSports Girls Rule tournament at Walter B. Williams Park in Milledgeville Saturday, March 10, 2010. The Intruders scored 63 runs in six games to capture the title. The Intruders are sponsored by Amici Italian Cafe of Milledgeville. Playing for the Intruders Saturday were, front row, kneeling, Ashley Rowland (Dodge County), Anna Jackson (Wilkinson County), Jacy Hinton (Washington County), Geordan Cullens (Washington County), Brooke Hinton (Washington County), Mattie Usry (Greene County), back row, Emily Snider (Washinton County), Anna Katherine Stewart (Washington County), Danielle Easterly (Putnam County), Jessica Hayles (Wilkinson County) and Candace Story (Washington County). Not pictured is Rachel Prestwood (Baldwin County). The Intruders are coached by Dennis Moore and Tim Turner and were assisted Saturday by Mark Snider and Gilbert Story. The Intruders are a 14-and-under travel softball team that includes players from central Georgia counties.
