National Bald Eagle Day observed at Bear Hollow

Celebrate National Bald Eagle Day at Bear Hollow Wildlife Trail with the zoo’s resident bald eagle pair on Saturday, June 19 from 10 a.m. – noon. The zoo has just acquired a juvenile male bald eagle and they are on exhibit together.
Participants will learn why the forefathers chose the bald eagle and some of its unique natural history. There will be live feeding demonstrations, crafts, and lots of information about eagles.
National Bald Eagle Day will be held rain or shine by the bald eagle exhibit and the exhibit hall. This program is free of charge.
