Saint Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary at East Georgia proudly presented a $15,000 check to the hospital’s capital campaign this month.
The money comes from a certificate of deposit (CD) that reached maturity. This money will be used as the hospital’s plans for growth continue.
In addition, the SJEG Auxiliary continues to bring in impressive revenue to the facility. The Auxiliary has doubled its sales in the gift shop through the addition of many new items including purses and jewelry. Another special event titled, “Eggstravaganza at Easter” brought more sales in one week than the Auxiliary usually counts in one month.
These events have been so successful, Auxiliary leaders are currently identifying other fundraisers for the hospital as well.
