The Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the relocation of That Pizza Place Friday, May 28.
That Pizza Place offers pizza, calzones, subs, salads, wings and desserts. The business originally opened its doors in October 2007 at its previous location on Old Phoenix Road and is family owned and operated by Mike and Wendy Sims along with their six children. In honor of the strong family connection their business allows them to have, the Sims have named all their pizzas after their kids.
“We felt pizza delivery options were limited on the lake and knew we could meet that need,” said owner Mike Sims. That Pizza Place recently relocated to 1133 Lake Oconee Parkway. “We chose to relocate this business here because of its central location with Lake Oconee. Give us a try and like our slogan says, you’ll be sure to have ‘Quality Pizza, Quality Time.’”
According to Sims, That Pizza Place is a member of the Chamber “for the many benefits and contacts it provides.”
That Pizza Place is available for catering, deliveries, dine-in and take-out. The new location on Lake Oconee invites customers to access the restaurant by boat. The business is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
That Pizza Place is located at 1133 Lake Oconee Parkway, Eatonton, 31024. To place an order or for more information, call (706) 485-5822.
