Executive Chef Scott Gambone and Chef Steven Frain are kicking things up a notch with burgers, beers and entertainment every Monday night at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge.

The new Burger Bar, which takes place every Monday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., will be located in the luxurious yet comfortable Lobby Lounge and offers locals and guests a unique, entertaining, and tempting burger menu alongside live music — a one of kind experience in the Lake Oconee area.

From Chef’s special House-Made Chips to burgers such as The Breakfast Burger and Memphis BBQ Bacon Burger, every week will offer Burger Bar guests the opportunity to test their taste buds with one of Chef Frain’s exciting new gourmet burgers. The Ritz-Carlton Lodge’s Burger Bar experience also features beer pairings with each burger to enhance the excitement — from a refreshing Georgia Brown Ale which is accented with a slight nuttiness and subtle hop characteristics to a Hefeweizen brew featuring a unique flavor of banana and cloves.

“The initial idea of Burger Bar actually came from Gary Mitchell, one of our food and beverage managers, and we loved the idea so much that Chef Frain immediately started work on the menu. It didn’t take long with his creativity and passion to complete a menu full of unique and delicious burgers for any burger connoisseur.” explained Executive Chef Scott Gambone. “We tasted and tested the menu several times, tweaking each ingredient until we had the perfect combination. From eight to ten dollars for burgers this menu’s amazing price point will have locals and guests feeling guiltless about coming every week.”

Relaxed and sophisticated, The Lobby Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge is a popular choice for first dates, happy hour with friends or a nightcap. Rich fabrics adorn the cozy couches and lounge chairs, creating a series of semi-private seating areas in the expanse of the large room. The a la carte menu is offered daily from opening to close, offering the area’s only late night dining option. Burger Bar is available every Monday evening from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. While hours vary seasonally, The Lobby Lounge is currently serving Friday and Saturday 2 p.m. to midnight, and Sunday — Thursday 5 p.m. to midnight.
