Restaurants and caterers from all over the Greene County and Lake Oconee area are encouraged to participate in this year’s Tasteful Event, which will be held in downtown Greensboro Monday evening, Sept. 13, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. This event serves as a great venue for restaurants, chefs and caterers to promote samplings of their entrees and food selections. The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, The Yesterday Café, Richland Creek Restaurant, The Washington Grass Inn, Balcony Bar & Grill at Spotlight Theatre, Wilbur Deanz, Cafe on the Green and Cake Matters are just a few of the venues slated to be featured at the Taste.  Businesses and organizations are also encouraged to participate. In addition, this year’s event, there will be live entertainment by “Little Phil,” a wine tasting and a great opportunity to network with residents and guests. This event will be open to the public and tickets may be purchased at the Greene County Chamber of Commerce located at 111 N. Main St., Greensboro.
