LOPC fall festival offers fun for everyone

Mark your calendar for Sunday, Oct. 31 at 6 p.m.

While “trick or treat” used to be a safe and fun time for children, in recent years it has become a time of worry for parents.  A good way to allow children to dress up in their favorite costume and enjoy collecting treats us to bring them to Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church’s Fall Festival.

The Fall Festival will be a fun and safe evening for families.  The fun will begin at 6 p.m. and last until about 8 p.m.

Children may come in costumes and collect candy as their “treats.”  Also, they can check out the big Putnam County fire truck and talk to a real fireman!   The bounce house is a good way to use excess energy!   Or let them try their hands at cookie decorating.  Face painting is always fun, too.

There will be various games, live music, and, most importantly, a safe and fun evening for everyone.

Yes, this is an exciting night!  And it is a time for the community as well as for the families of Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church to come together for an evening of fun and fellowship.

Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church is located at 113 Scott Road , just off Hwy. 44 near the Putnam-Greene county line.  For more information, call the church office at (706) 484-0600.
