Readers of Georgia author Alan M. Oberdeck’s beloved Deer/Dear Hunt trilogy need wait no longer with the nationwide release of the anticipated series finale, “This Time I’ll Stay.”
In the third and final installment, Peter Waldmann and Linda Leigh Sanderson have each returned home from their two-week vacation in the northwest and plan for Peter to meet Linda again in Edgerton, Wisconsin, over the long Labor Day weekend.
Linda wonders what it will be like to introduce Peter into her world – or if she’ll even want to do so – and Peter is making an effort to become a part of Linda’s life the right and proper way. John Stemple and his wife, Marie, will also have great input into how things begin to take place. The dear hunt is on when the deer hunt begins. Readers learn, when disaster strikes, if Linda will lose Peter yet again in the heartwarming conclusion.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com. This is also an eLIVE title, meaning each book contains a code redeemable for a free audio book version from TatePublishing.com.
After initially working as a design engineer, Oberdeck spent 35 years as a traveling salesman, covering territories that included the United States, Canada, and Mexico. He is the author of “Lost in the Shadows,” the first two books in the The Deer/Dear Hunt series, “A Salesman’s Guide to Hunting,” and “The Vancouver Rendezvous.”
