Would you like to add an around-the-world touch to your Christmas celebrations this year? If so, be sure to attend the Steffen Thomas Museum of Art’s International Christmas Bazaar scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 4 , from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a Preview Party set for Friday, Dec. 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. The Bazaar will offer a variety of baked Christmas goodies, some featuring recipes from the new STMA cookbook, Savor the Museum, A Collection of Good Food and Glorious Art, as well as inexpensive gifts from countries throughout the world.

Another very special highlight of the season is a fabulous set of Central and South American crèches lent to the museum by collector Anne Gilleland. They will be on display at the museum from Dec. 4 through Dec. 31.

The preview party for the Bazaar will also feature an opening reception for Family, Friends and Philosophy, the next in the series of exhibits of Steffen Thomas art from private collections. Samples of the baked treats for sale at the Bazaar will be served along with Glügg, a warming and potent Danish Christmas drink.

The Steffen Thomas Museum of Art, located at 4200 Bethany Road, Buckhead 30625, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information and directions, please call (706) 342-7557 or visit www.steffenthomas.org.
