Saint Joseph’s East Georgia Hospital is proud to announce its inaugural Taste of Holidays Event was a tremendous fundraising success, garnering $10,000 to go toward much needed equipment at the hospital.

Hundreds of patrons gathered at the wine and food tasting, which was held Nov. 5 at Gary’s Garden Center.  Taste of the Holidays featured a decadent menu prepared by eleven local restaurants and wine pairings included a selection of more than 75 national labels provided by Oconee Cellar.

“We are overwhelmed by the community’s outpouring of support for Saint Joseph’s East and we are delighted so many folks came out to our event to benefit the current hospital” says Mike Huff, President of Saint Joseph’s East Georgia. “Food, wine and entertainment were enjoyed by all, and in partnership with our hosts, Gary’s Garden Center and the Oconee Cellar, we look forward to an even bigger and better celebration again next year,” Huff said.
