Have you forgotten to buy a gift for someone on your list? Remember Christmas is just a week away. Items that pertain to gardening make great last minute gifts and there are many great choices. For the inside, think about giving a Poinsettia, Christmas cactus, candles, or houseplants. There are many beautiful houseplants in stock now. Poinsettias are available in different colors not only the traditional red they are known for. Consider bird food, birdhouses, and bird feeders for outdoor gifts. Quality garden tools for the avid gardener are always appreciated gifts. Decorative pots for indoors or outdoors make great gifts.
Maybe someone needs trees, shrubs, perennials, winter annuals, or grasses to accent or complete their landscape. If you know someone who enjoys being outdoors, consider outdoor torches, tabletop rock heaters, or a beautiful, large fireplace-style heater with rock accents. They are beautiful to look at and enjoyable and warm to be around especially with a group of your closest friends.
Another great gift is a professional landscape design. This will give someone the proper direction to create a beautifully landscaped yard. That special person will enjoy the gift that keeps on giving. Every time they look at the garden gift you gave them, they will remember you.
Come by the garden center and browse through all the last minute gifts ideas. The chances are that you will find a great gift.
