The Steffen Thomas Museum of Art will offer the following classes in early 2011.
Jan. 22
“Basket Weaving with a “Twist.” A STMA Family Workshop. 10 a.m. to noon. Steffen Thomas Museum of Art, 4200 Bethany Road, Buckhead. Learn how to weave a basket using yarn, fiber strips and ribbon. “Let the Sun Shine In.”A STMA Family Workshop. 10 a.m. to noon. Steffen Thomas Museum of Art, 4200 Bethany Road, Buckhead. Brighten your long winter days by creating portraits of glorious sunflowers using the instructor’s “Paws to Print” DVD art lesson kit. Taught by local artist, illustrator and teacher, Julie Noland.
