Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee, RE/MAX Lake Oconee and RE/MAX Lake Country have come together to form a new real estate company under the Coldwell Banker brand. The new company will be a wholly owned subsidiary of BankSouth Holding Company and brings together the most widely recognized real estate brand in the world with the strength of one of the area’s oldest financial companies.

“This is a significant opportunity that brings the most seasoned and experienced professionals in our market together in the area’s largest real estate organization,” said Tom Martin, the company’s new President & COO.  The company will operate as Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty in the Lake Oconee area, and Coldwell Banker Lake Country in the Lake Sinclair area.

The new company will operate with more than 80 sales associates in four strategically located offices: Highway 44 at Village Park, Linger Longer Road at Reynolds Walk, Highway 44 at Harmony Crossing, and on Lake Sinclair on Highway 441 across from Plant Branch.
