Friends of Library to host dinner

The Friends of Greene County Library will hold their annual Dinner/Meeting on Friday, Jan. 28. at the Greensboro First United Methodist Church Family Life Center in Greensboro. They invite all members as well as the public to come and spend an enjoyable evening of entertainment, good food and fellowship.
The event begins at 7 p.m. with a delicious home-style dinner and scrumptious deserts catered by Elise’s Elegant Edibles. Door prizes will be given and a supply of “nearly new” books will be available for sale. A member of the board will give an update on renovations now being made at the library.
Local musician, Brad Rudisail will entertain with the music of well know southern composer, Johnny Mercer. Mr. Rudisail holds a BA in Communications and minor in Business and Music from the University of North Texas. He has released five CD’s, two of which received air play across the United States as well as in Europe. He frequently authors a column in local newspapers, has taught piano here in the lake area and is currently serving as Music Director at the Lake Oconee Lutheran Church.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Greene County Library, or checks made out to Friends of the Library may be mailed to Jean Reed, 1040 Swordhilt Road, Greensboro, GA 30642.
