Five members of the Greensboro Writer’s Guild had their works acknowledged by the Georgia Poetry Society when their poems were accepted for publication in the 2010 edition of, The Reach of Song, the Society’s Annual Anthology.  One member, Kathrin Rudland, was pleasantly surprised to learn that her poem, The Warning, was chosen Second Award for Excellence in the Member Poem Category.  The award ceremony was held on the campus of Kennesaw College this past fall.  In addition to awarding cash prizes, the top three poems in each category are published in, The Reach of Song.

Those poems published in the Anthology along with Ms. Rudland’s The Warning, are: Firefly, by Don Adams, Round Loaves of Rye, by Elizabeth Howells , Enduring Portrait, by Gay Williford and Recipes, by Kathy Wright.
