Revamped Philly Attraction restaurant reopens in Union Point

The revamped Philly Attraction restaurant has reopened in Union Point at their old location, 4811 Lamb Ave. It’s sporting a new coat of paint and a blazing wood stove gives the interior a warm ambience but the food is still freshly produced daily.

The owners, the Cristea family, have spent the past year or so on the road cooking up a storm at shows around the region, and were unable to stretch personnel to run both their show booth and the restaurant. Now the family has regrouped and is able to do both. The restaurant is back with a slightly reduced menu, but also featuring new items – for instance, the soon to be introduced range of pizzas.

“We still have our well-known Philly steak or chicken sandwiches, big burgers or fish,” John Cristea said. “But soon we’ll have a wide range of pizza – and of course our special homemade sausage, you can ask for it.”

The special homemade sausage recipe is from their original homeland of Romania and is delicately flavored and full of taste. They also feature a kid’s menu and on Sunday will be trying out Sunday brunch. The brunch will be a prepared buffet with staples such as mac and cheese, chicken fillets, pork chops, wings and mashed potatoes in addition to the menu.

The restaurant hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and the Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. until 3-ish, maybe 4 p.m.

“We’ll see how it works out best,” Cristea said.
