Rock Eagle 4-H Center welcomes all 6 to 11 year-olds to come and explore the outdoors this Spring Break. On Monday, April 4 2011, Rock Eagle is offering Survival Kids Day. During this exciting program, campers will test out their survival skills. Learning how to use a compass, building a shelter and making a fire will be a few skills taught to campers throughout the day. Counselors will also teach campers how make their own rope out of plant materials and give instruction on canoeing.   Survival Kids Day is part of a weeklong series of programs at Rock Eagle during Camp EcoAdventure. Camp EcoAdventure is an environmental education day camp that focuses on the amazing attributes of the outdoors.   Each day of the week focuses on a different aspect of life in the great outdoors and will showcase exciting activities for campers to enjoy.  The cost for one day of camp is $40 or $190 for the entire week.  Student drop off is at 8 a.m. and pick up starts at 4:30 p.m.  Extended hours are available for an additional cost.  Registration is due March 18, 2011, however, Camp EcoAdventure is filling up fast.  To get your camper signed up, please visit www.rockeagle4h.orgee.  For questions, please contact Becky Collins at (706) 484-2636 or beckyg@uga.edu.
