Pathways to Healing of Greensboro is pleased to announce that Dr. Justin Lance recently received certification as a Golf Injury Doctor. Lance is one of only four certified Golf Injury Doctors in Georgia.

Certification as a Golf Injury Doctor allows medical professionals to diagnose and treat a variety of golf-related injuries. Certified doctors are trained in swing mechanics in order to help determine if a patient is at risk of injury while swinging the club. Additionally, certified golf injury doctors are able to offer training protocols to enhance flexibility, strength and power, while also addressing the mental and nutritional aspects of the game. In order to receive this certification, Dr. Lance had to complete 30 hours of classroom instruction, as well as pass both written and practical examinations. Dr. Ramona Warren, owner of Pathways to Healing, also holds this prestigious certification.

“Golf is a sport that puts tremendous strain on muscles and joints in the body,” says Dr. Lance.  “Specialized care by a Golf Injury Doctor can help golfers improve their strength and flexibility, allowing them to play at their highest level while also avoiding injury.”

“We are thrilled to be able to offer targeted care to address the unique needs of golfers, with the goal of keeping them healthy both on and off the course,” adds Dr. Warren.

Dr. Justin Lance received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees from Life University. He believes physical training and nutrition play a key role in chiropractic care. An avid sportsman, Dr. Lance is a world finalist and two-time Georgia State Champion in Barrel Horse Racing competition.  His riding experience, as well as his proficiency in golf and other sports has given him a keen interest in treating and preventing sports-related injuries.
