Unlike the beautiful spring afternoon that opened the Harbor Club Ladies’ Golf Association’s 2010 season, this year played an early April Fool’s Day prank by dousing the course with torrential rains, thus preventing their opening day scramble.

Undaunted by the weather, the ladies carried on with indoor plans and kicked off the 2011 season by enjoying hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, conversation and door prizes at Troutdale’s in Harbor Club.  LGA Board members, Val Ledyard, Marie Madsen, Kathy Kurelic and Carol Gordon, hosted the reception.

The ladies are keeping their fingers crossed for sunshine and clear skies on April 14th. when they take to the links for their first official game day.
