Pathways to Healing of Greensboro is pleased to announce that Dr. Justin Lance recently received certification as a golf fitness instructor through the prestigious Titlest Perfmormance Institute.
The Titlest certification teaches medical professionals, golf instructors and fitness trainers how to identify and overcome any restrictions limiting a golfer’s potential. Through Titlest Performance Institute coursework, students learn the latest in golf-specific health and fitness technology — including golf swing biomechanics, physical screening techniques and exercise prescriptions, as well as the most recent research and developments in the field of golf swing analysis.
“The Titlest training offers the tools to help analyze the golf swing, assess deficiencies, outline specific exercises and prevent injuries,” says Dr. Lance. “The ultimate goal is to reduce the risk of golfing injury and improve the quality – not just of the patient’s golf game – but of his life.”
“We are part of an avid golfing community,” adds Dr. Ramona Warren. “It’s important to be able to offer golfers specialized care that focuses on their unique needs and goals. With this certification, Dr. Lance is able to stay on the cutting edge of golf technology in order to keep our golfing patients playing at their very best.”
Dr. Justin Lance received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees from Life University. He believes physical training and nutrition play a key role in chiropractic care. An avid sportsman, Dr. Lance is a world finalist and two-time Georgia State Champion in Barrel Horse Racing competition. His riding experience, as well as his proficiency in golf and other sports has given him a keen interest in treating and preventing sports-related injuries.
