The Reynolds Rapids traveled to Conyers to participate in the Georgia Recreation and Park Association (GRPA) District 6 Championship Swim Meet July 9.  

The Rapids competed against swim teams from Rockdale, Walton, Henry, Morgan, Warner Robbins and Bibb Counties. Coaches Angel Sims and Theresa Myers were on the pool deck to provide encouragement to all the swimmers. Once again, the Rapids proved very successful and returned home with many gold medal victories.

A total of 27 Rapids qualified at the district swim meet to advance to the state championship swim meet in Tifton later this month.
