Reynolds Plantation announces new appointments

Reynolds Plantation is pleased to announce the appointment of Lacie Groeninger as long-term leasing assistant manager in Guest Services and Shona Blair as recreation director. Both ladies bring ample experience, knowledge, and eagerness to the team.

A graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BS in Public Relations and Marketing Management, Groeninger’s past experience comes from the American Cancer Society in Athens where she was a community manager coordinating patient programs and services and various year-round fundraising projects such as Relay For Life. Familiar with the area and community members, the past three years she served as the ACS staff partner for Greene, Morgan and Putnam counties.

In her new position with Reynolds Plantation, Groeninger’s primary focus is the Long Term Leasing program. Her goal is to take this program to the next level by maintaining a competitive inventory, marketing the program to potential tenants and managing the long term leases for the properties. She will also play a large role in Guest Services and the Short Term Rental Department, assisting with day- to- day operations and overall departmental success. She is currently working to obtain her Real Estate license and looks forward to the opportunities it will afford her in this role.

Groeninger is involved in many local charities as a Rotarian, and hopes to improve her tennis game in her spare time.  

A graduate of the University of Hawaii with a BS in Travel Industry Management, Blair has spent the past five years as Cruise Director, directing entertainment for Norwegian Cruise Line out of Miami , Fla. on a variety cruise ships sailing throughout the world.  She served as an Assistant Cruise Director for the same cruise line between 2004

and 2006.  She also worked for Windjammer Barefoot Cruises as a Youth Counselor and for the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.

As Recreation Director to Reynolds Plantation, Blair will oversee the Lake Club fitness and recreation facilities, recreation programming, as well as the Lake Club , Landing, Great Waters, and Plantation pool facilities.

Blair is a Certified Open Water Diver, an avid golfer, and a huge MLB and NFL fan.  

She also enjoys culinary and wine tasting endeavors.
