It’s a “Tasteful Event & Business Expo” and it’s only a few weeks away. Come join the fun on September 12 as a variety of restaurants will be featuring bites of tasteful entrees from throughout the Lake Oconee Area. This annual fundraising event will be held from 6 until 8:30 pm. This year’s event will be held in downtown Greensboro, and will give restaurants and businesses an opportunity to promote their business.

A silent auction will be held in conjunction with the event so be prepared to bid on great items.  Travel packages, golf outings, jewelry, and other unique items donated by various businesses will be featured. The evening will be filled will good food, live entertainment by John Dunn and Jazzman, a wine tasting, Greene County’s own DOCK 103.9 Radio, and networking opportunities with the business community. The entire community is invited to attend so get your tickets now.

Tickets are being sold in advance for $20 each and $25 at the event. Tickets may be purchased Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Greene County Chamber of Commerce at 111 North Main Street, Greensboro, and Exchange Bank at 6081 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Greene County Chamber of Commerce.
