The Madison Artists Guild and the Steffen Thomas Museum of Art invite you to spend an exciting and inspirational evening with two masterful artists; painter, Philip Morsberger and sculptor, Anita Huffington. The Guild has curated this dynamic show of important and diverse works by these two celebrated masters of their media and the host gallery, STMA is proud to partner with MAG in this exhibit.
The exhibit’s opening reception on Friday, Sept. 9 begins at 7 p.m. and concludes at 9 p.m. Please join us for complimentary appetizers, wine and a wonderful evening with these widely respected and collected artists who also just happen to be old friends.
Presenters of this show would like to thank our very generous and supportive In-Kind Sponsors: Eenoco Japanese Steak and Sushi, Olde South Wine and Spirits, Rutledge Frame Shop, Godfrey’s Feed, Madison Oaks Inn, and Boxwoods Gardens and Gifts.
The show runs through Oct. 30 and includes a special artist-lead Family Tour and Workshop inspired by Morsberger and taught by Julie Noland at 1 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 15 at the museum. That same day, Morsberger will hold forth in an Artist Talk in the gallery at 5 p.m. This talk will be entertaining, informative, and definitely NOT stuffy! For more pricing information and reservations for the Oct. 15 afternoon Family Workshop, call the museum at (706) 342-7557 (attendance is limited to 20).
