Dining group enjoys meal at Cuscowilla

On August 23, the Lake Oconee chapter of The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs hosted a “Stroll through the Arbor Charcuterie” followed by an Epicurean Dinner at the Waterside Restaurant in Cuscowilla. The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, founded in Paris in 1950, traces its origins back to 1248 and today is a truly international gastronomic association.
The principal goal of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is to bring professional and non-professional, members in over 80 member countries together to celebrate their passion for fine cuisines, wines and camaraderie.
Executive Chef Gerald Schmidt was awarded the prestigious title “Grand Officier Maître Rôtisseur,” the highest professional honor to be given by the society.
Chef Schmidt is the founding Chef of the Lake Oconee Chaîne; starting the Club with 70 members which is the most recorded in any Chaîne club throughout the United States.
