Abundant Life Word Fellowship proudly presents “The New Beginning” Fall Concert & Fashion Show. The church is located at 150 Friendship Road in Eatonton. The show will be held Saturday, Oct. 15 beginning at 4 p.m. The show is free to the public.

The community is invited to Redeemer Episcopal Academy’s Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 22, at 680 Old Phoenix Road in Eatonton. The Festival will feature arts and crafts, bounce houses, hayrides, an exotic petting zoo, pony rides, pumpkin patch and more. “Pray, Hope and Belive” Cancer Support Group for Women in Greensboro, Monticello and Eatonton will be meeting at Putnam General Hospital located at 101 Lake Oconee Parkway in Eatonton, GA on October 6, 2011. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the “Classroom.” Please enter the meeting by using the front doors of the hospital as the Classroom is located on the second hallway to the right. All female cancer survivors are invited to attend this meeting.

The Greene County Boys and Girls Club will be sponsoring “A Festival of Trees, A Greene Christmas,” Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Festival Hall in downtown Greensboro. 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Oct. 1 and will be available at participating merchants.
