This Saturday, Oct. 22, the campus of Redeemer Episcopal Academy will be bustling with excitement during its first-ever Fall Festival, being held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In celebration of the season, the community is invited to take part in several activities including hayrides, face painting, bounce houses, pumpkin patch, a “trackless” train and exotic petting zoo, complete with camels, monkeys and more.

More than a dozen arts and crafts vendors will showcase their goods just in time for holiday shopping. Local eateries including Georgia Butts, Spillin’ the Beans and Starbucks will be on campus to provide food and refreshments for the day. Each REA classroom is hosting an activity booth with games ranging from a pumpkin bean bag toss to a classic cake walk. In addition, demonstrations will be presented by the REA cheerleaders, La Tuna Spanish choral group, Saltamacchio’s Karate School and Studio One Dance Academy.

“So many folks have worked so hard to pull this festival together,” said Kristen Ensley, president of the Redeemer Episcopal Academy Parents Association. “We couldn’t be more excited to share this event with the community.”

For those planning to attend the Reynolds Plantation Tour of Homes, also held on Saturday, the REA bus will provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the tour.

A gate fee of $5 will be charged to enter the festival with additional tickets being sold for activities.

Sponsors of the REA Fall Festival include R&R Insurance, Greensboro Family Practice, Cowles Clinic Pediatrics, E.J. Boswell and Associates and The Oconee Cellar.
