Bo Fowler, former University of Georgia football player and Area Representative of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, was the featured speaker at the monthly breakfast meeting of the Methodist Men’s Club of the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro. He recounted his football career in Greene County High School and UGA, and shared his passion for bringing the love of Christ to young athletes in Greene, Morgan, Putman, Taliaferro, and Jasper counties. The very important date of June 7, 1998 marked the day he accepted Christ as his Personal Savior and also shared wedding vows with his beloved wife Angie. In working with area athletes he conducts regular Bible studies and group meetings to show how important the teachings of Christ are in their development as responsible role models, citizens and future leaders.
