The Harbor Club Ladies League traveled to Madison to hold the November meeting. The group met at Le Petit Jardin, where owner Debbie Accentturo applies a European flare to her unique floral arrangements, living plant designs and creative wedding accents. Upon arrival, members were offered refreshments as they browsed the charming gifts and holiday decorations on display.

They were then treated to a demonstration on how to create living arrangements by solely using succulent plants.

A business meeting followed the demonstration as Camille Mancuso called the meeting to order, welcoming new members, Jan Price and Ann Ware and invited guests.

Debbie Burns reminded the ladies of the upcoming trip to The Macon Grand Opera House for, “Miracle on 34th Street” Dec. 19. She also invited them to visit the Festival of Trees being held Saturday, Dec. 3, at Festival Hall as a fundraiser for the new Boys and Girls Club.

Danelle Boreland of the Outreach Committee announced that raffle tickets for an apple cake (seen on the cover of September’s Southern Living) would be sold to benefit the Circle of Love Center in Greensboro. Millicent Zamirowski reminded all that the “Christmas Kids” presents needed to be turned in by Dec. 10 in order to be delivered to the schools on time.

Le Petit Jardin provided “living” door prizes, which were won by Judy Brantley, Judy Czerny and Cheryl Laine. Judy Stultz was the lucky winner of the Southern Living Apple Cake.

The ladies then went on to the popular Town 220 for lunch, followed by an afternoon of visiting the charming shops of Madison.
