Harbor Club Ladies hold February meeting

The Harbor Club Ladies League was in for a special treat at the February meeting as Julie Speyer, of the Pure Bliss Spa in Madison, offered healthy skin and makeup tips for a new Spring look.
Jane Iredale Makeup representative, Christina Stevenson, assisted her by giving luncheon committee members, Patricia Balduff and Peggy Borchelt, glamorous new makeovers.
Co-president, Nancy Nugent presided over the business meeting, welcoming the ladies, guest, Jane Lincoln and introducing new League members, Susan Beaumont and Nancy Dawkins.
Peggy Borchelt of the Outreach Committee asked that the ladies participate in a special food drive for the Greene County food bank. Donations will be collected and delivered the first week in March.
A visit to Atlanta to tour the Margaret Mitchell House and Oakland Cemetery is planned for March 28.
Those winning door prizes were: Judy Brindley, Joyce Johnson, Beth Layson, Bea McCormick and Kathy Moody.
“What A Woman Should Know” (re: legal matters) will be the program topic at the March meeting. Local Attorney, Jay Dell, will be the guest speaker.
