March 8-10, the Reynolds Plantation Lake Club Tennis Center hosted 31 ladies from the Eagle Watch and Town Lake Hills subdivisions north of Atlanta for a weekend of tennis drills, coaching and play.

The group brought four of their local pros for the tennis clinic weekend and an additional two pros joined the group on Saturday. Resident PBI Reynolds professionals, Dave Neuhart and Danny Klein, also worked with the visiting players.

A cocktail party for the group was held Thursday night at the Heritage and Nature Center. Local LOTA players who were recruited to play with the visitors were also invited to the mixer.

The local ladies were thrilled to be able to play the match tough visitors. On Saturday, 64 ladies played tennis in a fun format that allowed locals and visitors to play together.  Although game scores were carefully kept, a draw was declared among the 4 evenly split teams. It was great tennis on a beautiful day at the lake.

The group, which usually goes to Florida for their tennis camp, found that the Reynolds location was much more convenient and the accommodations better.

After such a fun weekend, the group will hopefully come back to the lake next year.
