The Harbor Club Ladies Golf Association kicked off its season with a “glitzy” cocktail party at the clubhouse. The glitz came from Debbie Burns creative table decorations. She first went green — recycling golf shoes by adorning them with multicolored “gemstones” and fluffy bows before adding spring plants.

The ladies enjoyed wine, cocktails and a delicious selection of hors d’ouevres before meeting to discuss tournaments and play days, etc. They began their season March 29.

This year’s officers are — Patricia Balduff, president; secretary/treasurer, Carol Gordon; tournament chairs, Debbie Burns and Millicent Zamirowski and play day chairs, Ellie Davis and Jane Kokoska.
