The Humane Society of Morgan County (HSMC) will host a fun evening where adults — with or without their pets — are invited to sample wines and appetizers all for a good cause. The fundraising event will be held Thursday, June 28, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Madison’s Brady Inn (250 North 2nd St.).

Everyone is encouraged to bring their dog to the venue and enjoy mingling with others. The Brady Inn will be serving a variety of wines and appetizers all for the low cost of $25. There will be five to 10 different wines to choose from throughout the evening. In addition, there will be numerous raffle items for people to bid on.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the HSMC, so that the non-profit organization can continue on its mission to save more animal lives by promoting adoptions of healthy, friendly companion pets.

“We’re excited to host a fun evening where pet owners can take their pets out on the town with them,” said Betty Straw Brown, HSMC president. “We invite the entire community to join us and celebrate our pets for the wonderful companions that they are.”
