Reynolds Plantation is pleased to announce the recipients of the Helping Hand Award for 2011. Peachez Peek, administrative assistant for Member Concierge, and Micki Tanner, real estate sales agent, have been recognized for their community service efforts here in the Lake Oconee area. The Helping Hand Award is given annually to employees who dedicate their time and energy to the community and/or charitable organizations.
Micki Tanner has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Greene and Putnam Counties since 2000, even serving as president of the club in 2002-2003. Tanner is also involved in the Meals on Wheels program in Greene County and the Second Harvest Food Bank since its inception. She is Membership Chair of The Oconee Performing Arts Society and is active in the congregation at Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church.
Peachez Peek has been recognized as a co-founder of New Springfield Girls Inc, also known as the Dazzling Divas, a youth girls group established in 2010 at New Springfield Baptist Church in Siloam. New Springfield Girls Inc does a variety of activities for the community: delivers care packages and sings to the elderly, donates school supplies, clothing, and food to various families in need, and tutors students in school. The group transforms to the “Dazzling Divas” when they perform step routines in competitions around the southeast. Peachez is truly a mentor for the young ladies and through her effort strives to make a difference, one girl at a time.
