Dealing with depression

Published 8:00 am Thursday, June 21, 2012

Even some of the greatest ministers in church history have suffered from depression.

In a biography of C.H. Spurgeon (one of England’s finest preachers ), Arnold Dallimore wrote, “What he suffered in those times of darkness we may not know…even his desperate calling on God brought no relief. ‘There are dungeons’, he said, ‘beneath the castles of despair.'”

If you suffer from depression, seek help from others. No reason for embarrassment. It can happen to any of us.

Wishing you much love and much light.
